The Future is Electric
ELECTRIFYING HAWAII
Together with BETA Technologies, we are exploring how new technologies can shape
and strengthen Hawaiiโs aviationโs future in service to our communities
BETAโs ALIA electric aircraft has begun demonstration and test cargo flights across Hawaii.
A first real look at what cleaner, quieter flight between the islands could look like, soon with passengers.
We are learning how electric aircraft could one day serve our Interisland network.
MAPPING OUT THE FUTURE
Our short Interisland routes make
Hawaii an ideal environment
for
the next generation of flight
ADVANCING ELECTRIC AVIATION
BETAโs ALIA electric aircraft has begun demonstration flights across Hawaii, and we couldnโt be more excited about what it means for the islands. The program brings together BETAโs electric aircraft technology, Surf Air Mobilityโs regional airline expertise as Mokulele Airlines, Hawaiiโs existing airport infrastructure, and SurfOSโข software, all working toward a more sustainable way to connect our communities.
ABOUT ALIA
BETAโs electric aircraft, ALIA, has flown more than 100,000 nautical miles in real-world operations, generating operational data that supports a disciplined certification-aligned roadmap.
ALIA is in Hawaii. BETA Technologies is working on demonstration flights across the islands, testing the idea of bringing zero-emission aircraft into real-world service to better connect communities and support the people who rely on travel, deliveries, and essential access every day.
