At Mokulele Airlines, connecting Hawaiʻi’s island communities is more than what we do. It is a kuleana, a responsibility and privilege we are proud to carry.

We are deeply honored to have been selected by the U.S. Department of Transportation to continue providing Essential Air Service to Lānaʻi for the next four years.

For the Lānaʻi kaiāulu, air service is an important connection to ʻohana, work, medical care, education, and opportunities throughout our islands. We understand the important role Mokulele plays in helping maintain those connections, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this special community.

Continuing to Strengthen Our Hawaiʻi Operation

Over the past year, our Mokulele ʻohana has worked hard to strengthen our operation across Hawaiʻi. We have made significant progress in reliability, staffing, maintenance, and the overall consistency of our service, and we remain focused on continued improvement.

As part of that commitment, we have added three additional Cessna Caravans to our Hawaiʻi operation, providing greater depth and flexibility to support the communities we serve.

These investments are about more than aircraft. They represent our continued commitment to building a strong, dependable interisland operation and being there for our communities when they need us.

Our Kuleana to Lānaʻi Continues

We are proud of the progress we have made, but our kuleana continues. Over the next four years, our focus will remain on providing Lānaʻi with safe, reliable, and dependable air service while continuing to strengthen our operation throughout Hawaiʻi.

We don’t take the trust of the Lānaʻi community for granted. We know that every flight represents something important: a connection to ʻohana, an appointment, a day at work, a student coming home, or simply the ability to move between the islands we call home.
