At Mokulele Airlines, flying between the islands has always been about more than getting from one airport to another. It is about connecting ʻohana, supporting our communities, and being there when our neighbors need us most.

Following significant damage to Kaumālapaʻu Harbor and the disruption of regular barge service to Lānaʻi, Mokulele is expanding assistance through our Wikiwiki program to help move essential items to the island.

The interruption of Lānaʻi’s normal supply chain can make it more difficult for residents to receive everyday necessities. For an island community, something as simple as receiving food, baby supplies, hygiene products, or household essentials from family on another island can make a meaningful difference.

That is where we can help.

A Little Extra Aloha for Lānaʻi

Through the Wikiwiki program, Mokulele will provide additional assistance for essential items traveling to Lānaʻi, using available space aboard our scheduled flights.

The program is designed to help Lānaʻi residents receive necessities from their ʻohana in Honolulu and Maui while normal supply service is disrupted.

Eligible items may include nonperishable food, baby supplies, basic household necessities, hygiene and personal-care products, essential items for kūpuna, and other everyday necessities affected by the disruption.

Shipments will be accommodated based on available aircraft capacity and must meet Mokulele’s packaging, screening, weight, and safety requirements.

Our goal is simple: use the resources we have to help our neighbors when they need them.
